*spoiler warning*

When offered a one-way trip to the past, Isabel sacrifices everything for a chance to change the rapidly deteriorating present–and see her murdered lover one last time. When she arrives twenty years in the past, buck naked and mortally wounded, she has 24 hours to convince a stunned but enraptured nineteen-year-old to change their future. Definitely easier said than done, as success means losing him to a brainy, smart-mouthed bombshell (her younger self), and that’s a heart breaker, save the world or not.

This offbeat tale is about falling madly in love when one is too cynical for such things, letting go of pessimism when it’s the last life jacket on a sinking ship, and racing against the clock when one doesn’t have the proper footwear. It’s a coming-of-age story for old fogeys, a how-to-make-love guide for diehard celibates, and a laugh-out-loud tragedy with a hopeful twist.

Thank you so much to Dave(@The_WriteReads) for sending me a copy to review for this Ultimate Blog Tour!

My thoughts:
Crossing in Time follows the story of Isabel and Diego in a world devastated by the accidental launch of a nuclear missile. After the nuke drops into the ocean, the resulting tsunami tears through the west coast of America.

When they are both reunited after many years apart, strange things begin to happen to them. First, a mysterious glowing sphere crashes through a hotel, setting the whole block on fire and trapping Isabel. Then government men and an ex-husband arrive to take them away to a highly classified military base.

When Isabel is offered the chance to make a one-way trip into the past for a chance to save Diego and the world, she leaves everything behind and goes for it. I absolutely loved Isabel and Diego! They are such well written characters ❀️

I really enjoyed reading this book! There are so many plot twists and mysterious things going on, it had me hooked from the very first chapter. I loved the time travel aspects of the story, it was really well written 😍 I’m sure that I’m not the only one who thinks this but who else absolutely hated Dave? Ugh! πŸ™‹πŸ˜‚
