Nothing will ever be the same. Satina is gone, kidnapped by the enemy. Disobeying Lucifer, Philip heads out to find her, journeying into the deep darkness of Outer Reach. But nothing can prepare Philip for the horror that awaits—or the demons he will face. Meanwhile, Lucifer’s kingdom is threatened as the Great Devil War draws closer. All Hell is about to break loose. The Angel of Evil is volume 4 of The Great Devil War series.
Thank you so much to Kenneth B. Andersen and Dave (@The_WriteReads) for sending me a copy to review for this Ultimate Blog Tour!
My thoughts:
The Angel of Evil picks up right after Satina is kidnapped and the aftermath of her tragic disappearance. Phillip sets of on a mission to save her and defeat Aziel once and for all. However, he’s no longer the Phillip we know. He has changed after the events that occurred down in the dungeons of Lucifer’s castle, embracing the tempter within him.
Philip makes his way to New Hell, wearing a disguise, to try and track down Satina. He discovers life in New Hell is not what anyone thought it would be… even the residents who have sided with Aziel. They are basically working like the condemned and are given little food.
When Phillip eventually tracks down Satina, he discovers that Aziel has been giving her water from the River of Forgetfulness and she has no idea who he is anymore. He comes up with a plan to help her remember and makes his way back to Hell where he steals a vial of water from the River of Memory kept in Hell’s museum. Here, he crosses paths with two members of Aziel’s army who have sneaked in to steal something that could win them the war.
As Aziel’s plans finally begin to make themselves clear, Phillip and Satina must race against the clock to stop him from destroying both of their worlds before it’s too late…
Hope you all enjoyed my review 😀 I’m really enjoying this series! Have you read The Angel of Evil yet? Let me know what you thought of it in the comments 😀 Bye guys, happy reading! x
