My thoughts:
Untethered by Kaylynn Flanders is an enchanting, action-packed, adventurous fantasy story and is the perfect sequel to Shielded. This book picks up a few months after book one. Ren is now the King of Turia, and is finding his new role difficult. On top of all his new responsibilities and his lack of trust in those around him, he is mourning the loss of his father as well.

When a member of the royal family goes missing, Princess Chiara leaves to go find them. But with no magic and fighting skills under her belt, Ren goes after her to help. While on their travels, they discover the true power the mages hold over their kingdom and must fight to do whatever it takes to save it, before it’s too late…

This story is full of incredible characters and awesome sword fighting. It’s so well written and the world building is amazing 😍 It’s definitely a must read for fantasy lovers!
