“I’ve wondered what you taste like for so damn long. You taste better than I ever could have imagined… my queen.”
He shouldn’t be calling me that. Beau was his queen.
And I had a problem.
I wasn’t supposed to feel this way.
Queen Merrin might be the least queenly queen in all the realms. After all, queens don’t typically sneak out at night to drink with their guards. When her best friend and neighboring queen, Beau, goes missing, Merrin won’t leave rescue to the knights. She sets out from the civilized world and into the wilds to retrieve her lost friend, but with ancient hexes, stolen power, and a mountain of giants’ bones, Merrin stumbles into something much greater than a simple rescue mission. Get ready for a swoony whirlwind of dark magic and forbidden romance, as Merrin finds strength in the whispers of the forest and comfort in the arms of a guard with tantalizing abilities.

My thoughts:
Wow guys! This book was amazing! 😍 I couldn’t put it down for hours at a time. It was a little on the shorter side and I had it read so quickly but luckily I have book 2 to keep me going!
A Crown of Echos follows Queen Merrin’s point of view on her journey to rescue her fellow queen and best friend, Beau, who has mysteriously disappeared. With the help of her royal guards, Albie and Rafe, and Queen Beau’s royal guard Windley, they set off to the giant’s bone mountains in the south to save Beau and bring her back safely.
Rafe and Windley are such interesting characters, and in some ways, they couldn’t be more different. Rafe is quiet, mysterious and brooding while Windley is very outgoing and flirty. But they both are keeping secrets.
I loved the writing style in this book! It was like the main character, Merrin, was speaking directly to the reader and not just to herself. She was telling us her story. A Crown of Echos is perfect for fantasy lovers. It’s full of adventure, magic, castles, royalty and romance ❤️
Hope you all enjoyed my review! ❤️ I really enjoyed reading this one! Have you guys read A Crown of Echos yet? Let me know what you thought of it in the comments. Bye guys, happy reading! x
