My thoughts:
I absolutely loved reading this sequel to Crown of Coral and Pearl 😍 The fantastic world-building from the first book was carried over to this one flawlessly. I completely fell in love with this watery world and the characters who live in it.

My favourite character was the book’s protagonist Nor ❤️ She is brave, free-spirited and would do anything for the people she cares about. And I loved the sisterhood bond present between her and her twin sister Zadie. Nor’s magic was so intriguing also.

Mara’s beautiful descriptions and world-building are brilliant, I couldn’t put the book down! I could get lost in this world forever! 😍 If you’re looking for an epic read filled with magic, adventure and amazing characters, I would highly recommend you give this a read!
