My thoughts:
A Wicked Magic follows Dan and Liss on their magical journey to become witches. After discovering a mysterious Black Book, they decide to take the leap and carry out a spell to turn themselves into witches… but their excitement quickly turns to something much much darker. When Liss’s boyfriend goes missing during a spell gone wrong and the girls hit a bump in their friendship, can they both put aside their feud to save him? Or will he be lost forever?

WOW. This book was such an amazing read! I could not put it down for one minute 😍 A Wicked Magic is described as The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina meets The Craft, and boy it did not disappoint! CHOS is one of my favourite shows and it really reminded me of it. This book also reminded me of a book I read last year, Sanctuary by V.V James.

The friendship between these two girls was so strong, even though they hit a very bumpy road in the beginning, they came back to each other in the end. Alexa was by far my favourite character! She has such a complex past and I loved getting to know her character 😄

I just want to take a second to mention the possible trigger warnings in this book. These include self harm, suicide, depression, obsessive behaviors, alcoholism, anxiety, abduction and child abuse. These are really heavy subjects, so please be warned before reading. More information can be found on the authors website x
