Fairyloot Unboxing – July 2019

I absolutely loved this month’s Fairyloot box! The theme for this July was Magic in the City. There were so many bookish goodies in this month’s box including a mug, a candle, a necklace and more! The book for July is one of my most anticipated reads for 2019 and I’m so excited to read it 🙂 Can’t believe I finally have it! *squeals* Spoilers below if you haven’t opened your box yet.

I love Shadowhunters and I love this mug!! It’s really pretty. I love the transition from The Infernal Devices to The Mortal Instruments to The Dark Artifices. The mug features Will, Jem, Tessa, Clary, Jace, Emma and Julian. Illustrated by @taratjah on Instagram.

Love that Fairyloot included a fab coaster with the Shadowhunters mug. I can’t wait to make some tea and use these together. The coaster is inspired by the book included this month. Designed by @obsidiayan on Instagram.

A Curse so Dark and Lonely (my fav) inspired candle by @acourtofcandles. Omg it smells amazing! It is cotton, cinnamon and vanilla scented and has a lovely deep blue colour. It includes artwork of Harper on the label, designed by @taratjah.

So happy to have another pin banner for my growing collection haha. This one is absolutely gorgeous! The banner is inspired by the Percy Jackson series and was designed by @inkandwonder.designs on Instagram.

This necklace is so beautiful! It features the iconic Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes joke shop and Gringotts Bank including the dragon! The necklace is designed by @bookmarkd.tattoos on Instagram.

Love this coin purse! It’s going to come in handy when I’m traveling. Stunning design by @nutmegandarlo on Instagram. Inspired by The Girl at Midnight by Melissa Grey.

Such a cool idea 😊 Definitely brought some magic to my day. The fortune I got was “The heart is an arrow. It demands aim to land true.” – Leigh Bardugo, Six of Crows.

The two tarot cards included in this month’s box were The Sun and The Moon and featured artwork of Ron and Luna from the Harry Potter series. My queen and fellow Ravenclaw Luna! I am so happy to have her featured in the tarot deck. The cards were designed by @loweana.art on Instagram.

This gorgeous character art print of Miyoung and Jihoon from Wicked Fox was designed by @kavon_kayleigh on Instagram.

Fairyloot’s book of the month for July was Wicked Fox by Kat Cho. I am so excited to finally get my hands on this book! I was so tempted to get it at YALC this year and I’m glad I didn’t. Wicked Fox is a modern urban fantasy set in the city of Seoul, Korea. It is inspired by Korean mythology and features magical and mythical creatures including the main character Gu Miyoung. She is a nine-tailed fox that needs to feed on the souls of bad men to survive. I can’t wait to read it! This gorgeous edition of Wicked Fox features bright pink sprayed edges and is signed by the author.
